District North was founded in Sudbury, Ontario by two current Laurentian University students, Emmett Cancilla and Kalev Timsuk, with a shared vision: create eyewear built for real northern living.

The North shapes you. Long winters. Bright summer sun off the water. Trails, lakes, rinks, roads, and backcountry. We grew up in it, we live in it, and we design for it.

District North is for athletes but it’s also for anyone who lives an active, outdoors driven lifestyle. Whether you’re training, hiking, fishing, skiing, golfing, driving back roads, or just spending long days outside, your eyewear should perform as hard as you do.
